DEATH FOR LIFE

How the death of Jesus brings life to you

A series unpacking the wonder of what Jesus accomplished on the cross and in His resurrection.

The cross of Christ is the POWER & WISDOM of God

“For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God…but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. ”
— 1 Corinthians 1:18-24 ESV

Jesus is my…

The Gospels record the life of Jesus and, surprisingly, focus more on his final days and death than the rest of his life (Matthew -33%, Mark 37%, Luke 25%, John 42%) demonstrating that in His death and resurrection Jesus most clearly shows us who God is and what He is like.

God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us

Romans 5:8 ESV
